Installing the Customer Data Phone App
To get started with the Customer Data Phone App, head over to the monday.com Marketplace and search for “Customer Data Phone”. Once found, click the Install app button to add it to your account.

After installation, click the Use app button to add the required Customer Data Phone Boards Template to your workspace. This template is essential, as it’s specifically designed to log all inbound and outbound calls, connect with contact data, and power all app features.

Using Integrations to Enable Call Logging & Sync
Now that your boards are ready, the next step is to integrate them with the Customer Data Phone App. To do this, open the Calls board and click the Integrate button at the top of the screen.
Next, click Create, then use the search bar to find and select Customer Data Phone Calls.
Here you’ll find a set of powerful integration recipes — including those for Call Logging and Call Sync, which automatically log calls and sync lead data enriched with AI-generated status ratings and engagement insights based on live caller data.

Using Integrations to Log Calls
Once you’ve selected the Call Logging recipe from the Customer Data Phone Calls integration options (see highlighted recipe in the image below),

Then You’ll be guided through the setup process. First, you’ll choose how incoming and outgoing call data is mapped into your Customer Data Phone Calls board. This includes selecting which columns will display details like call time, duration, customer name, and call type, etc.

Setting Up the Call Sync Recipe
The second integration recipe, Call Sync, ensures your Customer Data Phone Calls board stays enriched with smart insights.(see highlighted recipe in the image below).

Once selected, you’ll be guided through the configuration steps:
- Select the board where call data should be synced — choose your Customer Data Phone Calls board.
- Select the Call SID column — this unique identifier ensures the correct call details are enriched with AI-generated data.

A Couple of Important Things to Note
We strongly recommend keeping the default column names in the Customer Data Phone Calls board unchanged and properly linking your data fields during integration setup. This ensures calls are logged accurately and all AI insights and lead details are synced into the correct columns without errors

Viewing Caller Details, AI Summary, Call History & SMS in monday.com
Once your integrations are active and calls start logging into your Customer Data Phone Calls board, you can easily access rich caller data right from monday.com.
To view call insights, open the Item Card for any lead or contact. There, you’ll see:
- Caller Profile Panel: Enriched with key details like name, job title, email addresses, income range, property data, and more.
- AI Summary: Instantly view a summary of the call, interaction rating, and an automated follow-up email generated by the system.
- Call History: Scroll through a list of logged calls with timestamps and recordings you can listen to — all linked to the same contact for full context.
- SMS Panel: See recent message exchanges and reply directly via monday.com for seamless lead engagement.
All this happens in a single view, giving your team the full context and intelligence they need to close faster and follow up smarter.
